When fashion meets film, the past ignites — and a new heroine rises from the glittering lights of Paris. Known for his devoted celebrity following and lifelong romance with glamour, Christophe Guillarmé once again merges cinema, couture, and rebellion into a celebration of unapologetic femininity. Born on the French Riviera, he grew up in the shadow of Cannes, where the red carpet served as both playground and classroom — a realm of flashbulbs, silk trains, and women who transformed arrival into art. That radiant heritage breathes through his creations, grounding his “pop-rebel glamour” in the sunlit decadence of the South and the precision of Parisian couture.

For Spring–Summer 2026, Guillarmé rewinds the reel to one of fashion’s most uninhibited decades — the 1980s — channelling the wild pulse of Desperately Seeking Susan, the cult film that crowned Madonna the high priestess of individuality.

On the runway, that same irreverent energy takes form. Guillarmé’s muse is fearless and magnetic — a modern-day Susan who moves through the city like a song: her energy electric, her allure untamed. Tulle skirts burst into motion, drenched in shades of mauve, yellow, and scarlet, while micro-glitter jersey dresses gleam like the city’s skyline at dusk. The designer reimagines the film’s legendary jacket — now meticulously crafted with an embroidered collar — a statement piece that murmurs confidence and roars independence.

Presented at the iconic Balajo in Paris, the show unfolded like a cinematic reverie. Patchwork gowns caught the light in restless rhythms, evoking the golden age of MTV, when fashion was attitude and every moment demanded its own soundtrack.

Guillarmé’s distinctive fusion of glam-rock flair and haute-couture artistry defines the collection — a vivid symphony of volume, colour, and charisma.
