Elia, a Parisian singer with a rich blend of Azerbaijani and Tunisian roots, is leaving an indelible mark on the music scene with her unique vocals. Her presence embodies a vibe akin to a gentle breeze infused with ethereal energy, creating a captivating experience for those fortunate enough to witness her artistry. Mirroring intentional harmonies in her graceful movements, Elia exudes a rhythmic elegance.
Hailing from a family steeped in melodies, Elia is the daughter of composer Jean-Pierre Taïeb and discovered her love for music at a young age. Embracing her passion alongside her father, who composed music for films, she began crafting love songs in English by the age of 12. Starting with the drums, Elia later self-taught herself to play the piano, showcasing her ability to convey timeless romanticism through her music.
Debuting in 2019 the single “Aurore” while opening the show for Tamino’s French Tour (A Belgian-Egyptian Hypnotizing Singer), she soared with the captivating "Si tu savais" in 2020.
Elia's game-changing moment arrived in March 2021. Contributing to Booba's "ULTRA" album with "Grain de sable" she secured the 13th spot on the French Singles Chart. In 2022, she fearlessly entered Eurovision France leaving an indelible mark with a dazzling rendition "Téléphone" rendition, showcasing her musical prowess. She also unveiled"Océan" released under Booba's label—an album driven by an eponymous track that she wrote when she was 15 years old
In March 2022, "Vingt Ans" was unveiled, marking a significant milestone in Elia's burgeoning career. In June 2023, Elia's trajectory reached new heights with the release of "Etre une femme." Both tracks beautifully navigate the journey of a woman as she discovers her path to freedom and truth.
Fast forward to August 2023, Elia's stardom continued to rise when she performed "Grain de Sable" at the Stade de France in front of 80,000 people. This not only adds a shiny accolade but also underscores widespread acclaim, firmly establishing Elia as a rising force destined for greatness. Above all, she is a fiercely contemporary young woman and a keen observer of her generation.

My love for music began at a very young age, influenced by the musical environment in which I grew up and where my father was a guitar player, and my fascination with singing and music started as a young child. I loved to sing and motivated by a desire to breathe life into my own compositions, I learned to play the piano at an early age, as it was an essential tool in bringing my songs to fruition.
My passion for music fueled my musical pursuits. However, I found myself navigating the intricate relationship between Baroque and rock. The magnetic allure of tribal vibes, such as Led Zeppelin and the legendary Jimi Hendrix, further ignited my musical enthusiasm. Simultaneously, I sought solace in the tranquil melodies of Bach, particularly those resonating with the spirit of Pastrina and sacred music. For me, this musical journey began to unfold as I embraced life and pursued my dreams, with a constant aspiration to sing and harmonize the varied musical elements that resonated with my soul.

Yes, I write my own songs. Practising my singing is like a daily routine for me. It's something I look forward to every morning. Having a routine helps me wake up and get going. Music is like my way of life, and it's really important in my life. Sometimes, I take a break from singing and practice playing the piano. I also enjoy reading. Recently, one of my favourite authors, late Franz Kafka, and his biography has just been released by Reiner Stach.
If I'm not singing, I like learning from others, and it's a way for me to take a break and relax.

I would be delighted to perform a concert in Asia, where I believe there is a genuine appreciation and love for beautiful music. China, in particular, seems to possess a deep understanding of classical French musicians like Debussy, perhaps even more profound than our appreciation of France. Singing in vibrant cities such as Seoul and Tokyo is also a dream of mine.
Additionally, I am eager to reconnect with my roots and perform in places like the Caucasus and Tunisia, particularly at the Carthage Festival held in the Roman Theatre. Singing in such historic venues would establish a harmonious connection with my Bohemian style, driven by a magnetic force that resonates with both me and the audience. The atmosphere in these settings would be intense and unique, providing a different experience compared to performing for more familiar audiences in France.

I aspire to convey a message of love. In the current state of our world, marked by violence, wars, illness, poverty, and environmental challenges, there is a deep sadness envisioning presenting the symbolic dove of peace, bringing solace to our lives and inspiring hope for a better futu

I've had the opportunity to perform at several significant festivals in France. In fact, last year, I also had the chance to perform at the Stade de France, where I had an audience of 80,000 people. It was a fantastic experience.

My upcoming endeavour involves releasing an album I've been diligently working on for three years. I am eagerly anticipating its release and plan to embark on a tour. Additionally, I'm considering the possibility of extending my reach beyond France, exploring collaborations and perhaps engaging in duets in other languages.

I have a deep appreciation for many artists, such as Sir, Ed Sheeran, Rosalia, and Patrick Watson, but I believe it's time to step out of my comfort zone and explore beyond my usual musical preferences. Who knows, there are countless possibilities, and I'm open to discovering artists I may not be familiar with.

My message would be about finding peace within your own battles. Chaos isn't necessarily a negative force; it's an opportunity to confront challenges and bring joy instead of hiding away, as many people tend to do. I firmly believe that true peace begins with finding harmony within ourselves.

When I'm on stage, it's like being a part of this world. I feel a sense of Home, Vitality, and Joy. In contrast, the real world often leaves me with numerous unanswered questions.
