CHANEL - The Cruise 2020-21 Collection

BALADE EN MÉDITERRANÉE

“ My lover,
let us temporarily stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city,
go to the beach for a holiday together,
I want to enjoy the sun,
the beach and the gentle sea breeze with you...”

Balade en Méditerranée — The CHANEL Cruise 2020/21 Collection was unveiled online on June 8th at 12 midday Paris time. The Cruise series das displayed in the form of short videos and Lookbook, photographed by Karim Sadli. In the afterglow of sunset, CHANEL girls show casualness and elegance in the sea breeze…

Due to the impact of COVID-19 Pandemic, the original CHANEL Cruise 2020/21 collection was delayed for a few days. CHANEL also canceled its CHANEL Cruise 2020/21 collection fashion show scheduled to be held in Capri, Italy, and Virginie Viard, Creative Director of CHANEL had to adapt to the Mediterranean to unveil its amorous collection.

CHANEL Cruise 2020/21 collection brings you graceful and relaxing times with Mediterranean sea breeze...

CHANEL's iconic elements, tweeds, and waist chain accessories appear in this collection. With silhouette tailoring design, this collection is more light, loose, simple, capable, and elegant. Virginie Viard interprets the light and comfortable TRAVELS and enjoyments of life.

The classic colours of black and white are no longer just a low-key and calm image, but also presented the atmosphere of seaside vacation.

The warm and gentle colours appear in this holiday series, making everything more full of young vitality and free leisure.

The integration of the denim element makes everything no longer so sturdy but presents a kind of beauty with the matched elements, which is casual, comfortable, and convenient, yet elegant.

From dusk to dawn at the seasides, charming and elegant ladies can be graceful in thin black tulle with simple lines outlining mystery and comfort.

The sea breeze with the swaying skirt adds a touch of style to a romantic seaside holiday. The delicate woven gold fabric reveals a trace of enthusiasm in elegance.

For the early spring vacation series of CHANEL, the fabric stitching design and soft and delicate lamb wool are added to the classic diamond pattern and logo button. The chain element is added to the outside of the drawstring bag, the design is not only suitable for vacation, but also a good choice for ordinary travel.

In terms of accessories for this early spring vacation series, the waist chain has once again become the protagonist. The design has gems and metals added, which are directly tied to the skin, making the women's waist more sexy and retro.
