Fang Yang:

Thank you. I truly love these images. We chose these three black-and-white photographs because they capture the very essence of the collection — its spirit, emotion, and inner strength.

From the beginning, I wanted this campaign to reveal the deeper, darker side of the collection. The black-and-white palette removes distractions and allows the emotions to speak more clearly. It highlights vulnerability, resilience, and the quiet drama behind each piece.

For me, these images are not simply about fashion; they are about storytelling. They reveal the strength that exists within fragility and the beauty that emerges from emotion and depth.

Fang Yang:

This collection carries the atmosphere of a dark fairy tale. It has a dreamlike quality, but beneath its beauty there is also a sense of vulnerability, strength, and emotional depth.

From the beginning, I wanted to reveal the darker side of the collection and explore the connection between fragility and power.

Every element has been carefully considered. Nothing exists separately. The fabric, construction, silhouette, and every handcrafted detail work together to create one complete expression. This harmony is at the heart of the collection.

For this season, we developed new handcraft techniques that continue throughout the collection. Each garment shares the same level of craftsmanship, yet every piece has its own identity and interpretation.

My approach is always based on restraint. I believe structure should feel natural and effortless. The craftsmanship should enhance the design without overpowering it. The technique is present, but it remains refined and understated.

Through intricate layering, sculptural tension, permanent pleating, architectural folds, and innovative fabric manipulation, I wanted each piece to express beauty through balance.

For me, true beauty does not come from excess. It comes from the harmony between delicacy, craftsmanship, structure, and emotion.

The most meaningful couture pieces are those in which the artistry can be felt through the wearer’s movement and presence, rather than simply observed in the details.

Fang Yang:

Yes. I believe that when there is contrast, there is strength. The tension between softness and structure creates the emotional power of the garment.

Certain dresses in this collection are designed to create a sense of contrast, where delicate elements and structured forms exist together in harmony.

Here you can see our ribbon-wave technique. We developed this technique using ribbons in three different sizes to create movement and dimension within the silhouette.

In this design language, ribbons are not merely accessories; they become sculptural elements. They are carefully manipulated through twisting, layering, looping, and tension to create movement and depth.

Like folds and pleats, the ribbons become part of the architecture of the garment, transforming the fabric into a living, three-dimensional form.

It was a very challenging process because the body is not a flat surface. The garment has a three-dimensional shape, so creating the perfect wave and ensuring that the movement flows naturally required a great deal of patience, precision, and craftsmanship.

Each silhouette becomes a dialogue between stillness and motion, strength and softness, precision and fluidity.

The garment transforms every gesture into a visual narrative, allowing the wearer to become part of the artwork.

Fang Yang:

Each piece requires approximately 200 hours of meticulous craftsmanship using this technique. The threads and ribbons are carefully developed to create a sense of flowing movement, giving the garment a rich, sculptural quality while maintaining a clean and understated elegance.

The final result may appear effortless, but behind each piece lies a deeply passionate and thoughtful process. Every detail has been carefully considered, refined, and developed by hand.

We have developed three different interpretations of this flowing, pleated-wave technique, exploring variations in colour, scale, and proportion.

Although each version has its own unique character, they are all connected by the same dedication to craftsmanship and the same sense of movement and fluidity.

Fang Yang:

Firstly, this dress represents my personal expression and the emotions behind the collection. It reflects a journey of transformation — the moment when strength is discovered, limitations are challenged, and true freedom begins.

The inspiration behind the black-and-white striped ribbon around the bustier comes from the powerful contrast between restriction and liberation.

The ribbon symbolises the invisible boundaries, pressures, and challenges that can hold us back. However, rather than representing limitation alone, it becomes a symbol of empowerment — the strength, courage, and determination required to break through those boundaries and embrace freedom.

I am deeply inspired by the relationship between order and disorder, structure and movement, purity and emotion.

The white elements represent lightness, openness, and the endless possibilities of freedom, while the black ribbon represents the obstacles and experiences that shape us and make our transformation meaningful.

This dress is called Freedom because it captures the beauty of breaking free.

The flowing, wave-like layers represent energy, movement, and evolution. The silhouette is not fixed or static; it captures the powerful moment when transformation begins — when a form rises, moves, and creates something entirely new.

For me, this garment is a celebration of resilience, creativity, and self-expression.

It represents the courage to overcome boundaries, the beauty of personal transformation, and the freedom to create your own movement, your own identity, and your own future.
