The Dior Summer 2021 Men's Collection is designed by Dior Men's Wear Artistic Director Kim Jones. In this collection, Kim draws inspiration from his African upbringing and collaborated with young artist Amoako Boafo - a Ghana-born, Vienna-trained artist.
The first sequence of "Portrait Of An Artist" video is a series of motion clips and soundtracks created at Amoaco Boyafo’s Studio in London and Ghana by Video Artist Chris Cunningham with the second part highlighting the Men's Wear Collection designed by Kim Jones.
The collection has a total of 31 sets of work. Fluorescent yellow, blue, coral red and green are the main colours in the collection. The combination of bold and rich colours coupled with DIOR's exquisite craftsmanship and design exudes sportive-casual and personalized looks. The fluorescent yellow bag and the Basque beret are the must-have accessories this summer. The prints on the ready-to-wear garments inspired by the elements of the artist's work. They also reminiscent Christian Dior's love of flowers and gardens.
