Dior 2021 spring/summer ready-to-wear collection was presented on September 29 with a live show and online live broadcasts. Italian director and documentary filmmaker Alina Maraz made a wonderful film for the show opening, paying tribute to the unique and avant-garde artistic style of Italian artist Lucia Marcucci. The film revealed collages combining retro images and writings to express the uniqueness and importance of their words. Human history records are predominately compiled with images and writings. They come with generations of artistic and cultural heritage.

For the 2021 Dior Ready-To-Wear Collection, Maria Gracia Chuiri drew inspirations female writers, poetry and religion. The set of show gave an ambient of being inside a church with "glass panes painting."The paintings of the glass panes are intertwined with artistic images and poetic words forming a colourful scene. Lucia Ronchetti's "Sangu di rosa" was performed live by the ensemble Sequenza 9.3 and it was conducted by Catherine Simonpietri.

Reflecting on Christian Dior's description in his autobiography - "Entails a reflection on societal transformations or a reaction to current events" plus a view on the present pandemic that is changing people's living conditions and thoughts, Maria Gracia Chuiri creates a collection to suit daily lives. She reshaped the silhouette and structure of Christian Dior's classic styles which includes the Bar Jacket and the new lace design (inspired by Christian Dior's Autumn-Winter 1957 silhouettes for Japan) to make women feel more comfortable with added colours.

Inspired by the American female writer and art critic Susan Sontag, the classic white shirts are with waist lining to matched loose striped trousers or shorts.

Gauze long dresses are made of soft silk chiffon with exquisite handiworks and are like by many women. The elegant drape blended with colours, showing gentle and gracious temperament.

Dior logo belts revealed in this show made women's feminine figures more slender.

The men's clothing, designed with retro geometric patterns on tops, waistcoats and trousers coupled with ingenious modern tailoring integration creates new looks.

Classic saddlebags with retro pattern design are more of bohemian style.

This show is a time capsule bringing women together.
