The highly anticipated Homolog Fall-Winter 2024/25 Couture Show was unforgettable. Held at the iconic Tennis de la Cavalerie, guests and press members enjoyed a cocktail reception on the venue’s balcony, offering a stunning rooftop view of the Eiffel Tower that set the stage for an evening of elegance and innovation.

Homolog’s Creative Director, Emily Cheong, once again captivated the audience with her latest collection, a seamless blend of tradition, charisma, and modernity. The show’s setup was as much a spectacle as the clothing, featuring a unique tennis ball art installation. Designed and produced by IMG Focus, this installation represented the nine stars of the Big Dipper and perfectly aligned with the show’s theme of Feng Shui and astrology.

In the mythologies of Malaysia, Singapore, China, Thailand, and Indonesia, the Big Dipper is a symbol of cosmic control, balancing heaven and earth, the four seasons, and the five elements. Drawing on this rich symbolism, the collection opened with a white embroidered flowing dress paired with a feather cape. This ethereal piece set the tone for a show that was both grounded in tradition and boldly forward-looking.

The collection continued to impress with pieces like a black couture dress featuring a sculpted horn collar and a jewelled headdress. Strong, bold, and avant-garde silhouettes were a hallmark of the collection, each garment highlighting the beauty of nobility and elegance. Fine craftsmanship was evident in every piece, with intricate patterns and techniques inspired by the stars. The architectural style in the silhouette design added a majestic dimension, enhancing comfort and boldness.

Homolog’s tradition of bold looks was evident throughout the collection. This season, Cheong also introduced colourful, elegant, and original garments for men, expanding the brand’s repertoire. Each section of the collection introduced a distinct colour palette, showcasing Homolog’s ability to innovate while staying true to its essence with designs that honour their heritage and showcase the studio’s exceptional skills.

As the show concluded, it was clear that Emily Cheong and Homolog had once again set a high bar for couture creations. The Fall-Winter 2024/25 collection was a testament to the brand’s commitment to blending tradition with modernity, and charisma with elegance. It was a night where fashion, art, and celestial inspiration came together in perfect harmony, leaving guests and press alike eagerly anticipating what Homolog would unveil next.
