Rodrigo Basilicati-Cardin, celebrated for his daring avant-garde flair and groundbreaking space-age creations, has always been a trailblazer in the realm of fashion. His embrace of geometric patterns and futuristic themes has consistently challenged conventional ideas of femininity, drawing inspiration from the realms of futurism.

As the designer for the fashion house and nephew of the late Pierre Cardin, he pays homage to the iconic couturier while charting a new course. This season brought a fresh perspective from the familiar terrain of outer space mysteries. As anticipation fills the air, guests are captivated by a stunning presentation at the Atelier des Lumières, renowned for its digital art exhibitions.

As the fashion show unfolds, models step onto the runway with a collection reminiscent of the universe of astronauts adorned in striking gold and blue quilted coats with high collars. This bold statement immediately captures the essence of Cardin's iconic style. Following closely behind is a short gold jacket with a hood, further emphasizing the futuristic inspiration.

Models confidently showcase chic, forward-thinking attire that seamlessly blends futuristic style with casual streetwear vibes with some wearing eye-glasses that resemble those of futuristic explorers as if rising from the depths of the unknown. Their attire showcases Cardin's signature architectural forms and contemporary cuts, signalling a nod towards the future of fashion. It's a testament to Cardin's unparalleled vision with a perfect blend of avant-garde creativity and a sustainable ethos. As the show progresses, dresses come to life with geometric patterns, including triangles and round shapes, reminiscent of the cosmic wonders of nebulae. These designs captivate with their elegant shapes and vibrant colours, transporting viewers from the vast expanse of space to the depths of the ocean floor.

One standout piece, a long, tangy green dress adorned with semi-floating cut-outs, commands attention with its unique design. Held in place by a single button, it's a true showstopper on the runway, evoking images of graceful underwater creatures. As the runway lights up, viewers are taken on a captivating journey to the depths of the ocean.

What sets this collection apart is its strong commitment to sustainability. Each garment is meticulously crafted from recycled and deadstock fabrics, reflecting Cardin's dedication to conscious design. This fusion of eco-consciousness and high fashion proves that sustainability and style can go hand in hand.

A long, tangy green dress featuring semi-floating cut-outs held in place by buttons..., a true showstopper. And let's not leave out the long black dress, enhanced with the graceful fins of a fish. It effortlessly plunges us into the dreamlike depths of the underwater universe.

These two worlds seamlessly blend in the collection's easily interchangeable garments, offering a captivating fusion of space-age futurism and aquatic elegance. Each piece tells a story of exploration and discovery, inviting wearers to embark on their sartorial odyssey.
