At the heart of SANKUANZ’s collection lies a masterful reinterpretation of traditional Western tailoring, seamlessly infused with the oversized, wrapped garments characteristic of various Asian costumes. This unique fusion creates an aesthetic that is both innovative and evocative. Crossed collars and fronts, hip-hugging belts, and voluminous, elongated sleeves redefine the silhouette of suits, jackets, and workwear pieces. Extended collars, which flow from the neckline down the sleeve to the cuff, echo the elegant drape of wrap shawls, merging sophistication with functionality. Denim takes centre stage in this season’s collection, with unfinished hems and sleek nylon mimicking its rugged texture. This staple fabric is elevated by luxurious materials such as silk jacquards and taffetas, reminiscent of intricate Chinese brocade.
