SHIATZY CHEN SPRING/SUMMER 2026 COLLECTION — “UNSTILL”

Watching Shiatzy Chen’s Spring/Summer 2026 show was like feeling the wind sweep across an open plain. “Unstill” is alive — restless, graceful, and utterly free. Inspired by the saying “the horse unstill”, the collection moves with a rhythm you can almost hear: billowing skirts, layered chiffons, flared trousers, lace shirts beneath soft waistcoats — every piece flows, drifts, and settles with effortless poise.

The palette is a journey in itself. Earthy tobacco and coffee tones feel grounded, while verbena blue-violet brings calm sophistication. And then come the sparks — neon fuchsia, cobalt, sun-washed stone — little jolts of energy that lift the looks from refined daywear to something strikingly bold.

Details make it unforgettable: saddle-curved pockets, harness straps, horseshoe-inspired jewellery — the equestrian references are playful yet precise. Materials such as chiffon, lace, cotton-linen and supple leather allow the garments to breathe, while delicate embroidery and patchwork celebrate Shiatzy Chen’s craftsmanship without ever feeling weighty. Accessories complete the narrative — braided scarves, saddle-shaped handbags, reimagined Mary Janes and platform sandals all echo the collection’s free-spirited heartbeat.

“Unstill” is more than fashion — it is a statement, a state of mind: youth, energy, elegance, and freedom woven into one. A blend of sophistication and spontaneity, heritage and modernity, it reminds us that elegance is at its most powerful when it refuses to stand still.
