We arrived at the Hotel Potocki in Paris to attend the Lebanese designer Zuhair Murad's Spring-Summer 2023 Couture Show. The venue's entrance was filled with many attractive women wearing their designer outfits and having their pictures taken.

We eventually reached our designated seats and were ready to experience this exciting fashion show. For the opening, Zuhair's model confidently entered the ballroom dressed in an elegant white jacket with cutouts and crystal pants accessorised with a hat and a scarf, followed by a stunning collection of white beaded silhouettes.

It was an absolute feast for the eyes, taking us back to the glamorous 1970s party scene of the French Riviera. The designer drew his inspiration from the nostalgia of an heiress' lifestyle, which featured a bygone elegance of the 20s and brought it back to life with an updated modern version.

This season's collection was spectacular. Just thinking of scrumptious crystals, sexy multicolour sequin bodies and glitzy dresses will propel you back into the decadent period of the belle epoch when celebrations are a time for glamorous dressing.

The fringe beading dresses sparkled from the swaying movement of the models, showcasing Zuhair's unique and innovative designs. The looks were brimming with sensual elegance, featuring light fabrics such as tulle, chiffon, lurex and draped jersey, decorated with sparkles and embroidery inspired by art deco architecture.

Head ornaments and streams of crystals evoked the joy of an era. Their palette offered a combination of fiery colours from pink, yellow, orange, green and blue.

With intricately embroidered trimmings and the ornamental use of feathers, tassels and pearls, he emphasised the beauty of indulgence. Finally, we discovered the wedding dress and cape radiating grace and elegance made with the finest "Macrame Lace". The refined details were truly stunning.
