Stéphane Rolland presented his Autumn/Winter 2023-2024 Haute Couture Collection at the Paris Opera House, paying homage to the operatic diva Maria Callas. She is known as the epitome of elegance, her beauty enhanced by the dramatic aura she brought to the stage. Callas is today renowned as one of the most iconic figures from the 20th-century music world.

Draped in white lilies, the grand staircase with its bannister, mixed-coloured marble, and balconies, the atmosphere at the Opera House was electrifying as the seats filled up with the eager crowd waiting to view the show. The ushering of 'A'-list guests to their respective seatings was filmed and followed by rolling cameras as the event is part of an upcoming feature film entitled “Finalement” by Claude Lelouch.

This event became the talk of the town in Paris and is deemed a one-of-a-kind fashion show that transported you into another era, where the past and present merge into a timeless haute couture collection. To the mesmerising sounds of the opening notes from "La Traviata," the stage came alive as the first model - Nieves Alvarez began the opening of the show. All gazes converged upon her, transfixed by the commanding elegance emanating from her gown.

The opening continued with the entrance of a statuesque, slender model gracefully donning a striking black wool gazar dress. Following her, a magnificent array of exquisite gowns graced the runway. Each element of these meticulously crafted garments converged seamlessly, accentuating the woman's inherent power and allure.

Among the standout designs included a strapless velvet gown adorned with a glimmering diamond hood, and a blood-red crepe dress accompanied by an elaborate headpiece reminiscent of a cluster of golden flames.

A graceful red duchess satin dress with a bejewelled collar added to the enchantment. The silhouettes attained their pinnacle of magnificence by captivating jewels, infusing each ensemble with regal grandeur and an exquisite touch of majestic opulence.

Stéphane Rolland presented an awe-inspiring collection of 31 creations that emanated a blend of minimalism and graphical elegance that exuded sophistication to the atmosphere.

Taking centre stage are the captivating black-and-white colour palette. Each meticulously crafted gown captured the essence of allure, reminiscent of the enchanting presence of a charismatic diva. They evoked a distinct operatic persona, paying homage to the legendary of Maria Callas with each interpretations.

The collection skillfully encapsulated the essence of iconic roles, ranging from 'fiery ardour of Traviata' to the 'haunting sorrow of Norma', showcasing unparalleled craftsmanship with meticulous attention to detail.
