The Tony Ward Fall/Winter 2023-2024 Couture Collection presented a captivating concept entitled “Under My Skin” unveiling the hidden beauty within. Long, elegantly designed dresses stole the spotlight on the runway, featuring delicate sheer skirts, captivating asymmetrical cuts, and enticing leg slits. The designer skillfully incorporated intricate fabric weavings, adorned with braids and organic shapes, creating a mesmerizing fusion of textures and patterns.
The collection featured approximately fifty handcrafted silhouettes, blending traditional craftsmanship with modern technology. With a keen eye for fluid fabrics, the designer artfully crafted organic textures, giving birth to exquisite architectural details. The bold colour palette ranged from pure white to deep black, accompanied by shades like violet, sky blue, pale pink, beige, and orange. Daring plays of transparency and subtle colour variations added depth to each piece.
Long sculptured dresses took centre stage on the runway, showcasing sheer skirts, alluring asymmetrical cuts, and sensuous leg slits. Tony intricately intertwined fabric weavings, embroidered braids with organic shapes.
Alluring beaded crystal dresses delicately follow the contours of a woman's silhouette and create an aura of shimmering elegance and decadence. Silver and gold sequins cascaded like liquid light, transforming body-hugging gowns and voluminous capes into enchanting visions of ethereal beauty. Each dress, a testament to the designer's dedication, was meticulously handcrafted, ensuring unparalleled quality and uniqueness. The designs celebrated an unstructured aesthetic, expertly blending various materials and pleats to fashion mesmerizing ensembles that exuded timeless beauty.
