imageV&A is hosting the "Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams" exhibition at their V&A Museum in London from 2 February 2019 to 14 July 2019.

Tim Reeve, Deputy Director & Chief Operating Officer of the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) said: “Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams celebrates one of the most ingenious and iconic designers in fashion history.”

The Christian Dior: Designer of Dream Exhibition in London's Vistoria and Albert Musuem is led by curator Oriole Cullen and designer Nathalie Crinière. It will showcase more than 500 exhibits, with 200-plus rare Haute Couture garments shown alongside with accessories. The presentation include perfume and Dior’s personal possessions. Between Christian Dior and UK, as he said of Britain: “I love this country because the past lies all around.”

In 1947, Christian Dior hosted his first UK fashion show at London’s Savoy Hotel, and in 1952 established Christian Dior London. V&A will present the historic journey of the founding of Christian Dior from 1947 to today for all guests. This exhibition is the largest in V&A Museum, and where guests can also enjoy viewing six of Christian Dior's artistic directors' work & contributions:- Yves Saint Laurent, Marc Bohan, Gianfranco Ferré, John Galliano, Raf Simons and Maria Grazia Chiuri. Additionally, a classical reproduction of Christian Dior's dress worn by Princess Margaret for her 21st birthday celebrations will be on display. This dress is onloan from the Museum of London. Hope that you feel the charm of the masters and the long-lasting influences of Dior from his journey through time and space!
