“Junko Shimada’s Autumn/Winter 2025-2026 collection blends wild elegance with 1950s glamour, celebrating bold style and timeless sophistication.”

Stepping into Junko Shimada’s boutique, transformed into a showroom for her Autumn/Winter 2025-2026 collection, is an instant immersion into her bold, charismatic world.

At the heart of the space, a striking tableau commands attention—mannequins with bird-like heads stand poised, draped in sculpted silhouettes that echo the refined glamour of the 1950s. Structure and sensuality intertwine, most notably in a hooded black fur coat lined with leopard print—luxurious, daring, and impossible to ignore.

Leopard prints prowl through the collection, enveloping quilted skirts, puffer jackets, and sweeping mohair-lined coats. The motif extends to accessories, with shoes and bags exuding the same untamed elegance. Meanwhile, long wool dresses paired with matching cardigans embody effortless chic. The result? A collection pulsing with energy, where sophistication meets a wild edge.

Shimada’s signature fusion of Japanese aesthetics and Parisian elegance remains unmistakable. Tulip skirts and peplum jackets sculpt a fresh take on femininity, while tailored double-collar jackets with gold buttons—layered over fluid pleated trousers in deep grey, beige, and burgundy—playfully nod to menswear influences. This balance of structure and movement crafts an allure that is both contemporary and refined.

Textures and patterns enrich the narrative—floral prints bloom alongside caramel velvet bombers, cool knitted pieces, and alpaca coats. Long, zipped hooded dresses in striking Klein blue and inky black evoke the electric pulse of Paris at night, wrapping the wearer in sleek sophistication.

In Junko Shimada’s universe, fashion is a jungle, but her woman is neither tame nor rebellious—she is free, enigmatic, and effortlessly magnetic. Once again, the designer proves that elegance is not just about style—it is an attitude, a statement, and, above all, a celebration of individuality.
