1 JULY 2020
CATERHAM SUPERSPOPRTS
It was a particularly cold and dreary day, raining cats and dogs, so that the drive and roads adjacent to Mark's countryside home were slippy and muddy. We had arranged via common friends in my old motorsport circles , to organise this shoot and photograph a fashion shoot with Mark's stunning Martini Liveried Caterham Supersport and Ferrari 458 Spider.
As the day turned out it was not possible to shoot outside as the girls would have been drenched very quickly so we made the best of the lovely garage and fabulous machines we had available. A pre-emptive Covid lockdown scenario if it were. Thankfully I had packed my 20mm lens so was able to shoot with my strobes in the not too wide space.
The shoot turned out to be a hoot, with the girls, Julie and Amy looking wonderfully sexy in latex by Kim West and studded leathers by Martial Tapolo. We recreated the idea of speed within the four corners of the garage for which the sleek design of the styling by Suna Moya and the cars was totally complementary. An editorial showing the power of metallic, sleek, bold and brave looks for the woman who fears no machine.
