YANINA presented the Spring/Summer 2022 Couture Show at the Russian Embassy in Paris. It was the first time she had been officially invited by the Haute Couture Federation to participate in the official Haute Couture calendar.

Arriving at the Embassy on a cold Parisian evening, we were immediately drawn to the vibrant collection. The Spring/Summer 2022 Haute Couture collection is inspired by 'freedom'. Committed to no more boundaries, finally we can travel and enjoy life and the freedom that comes with it. Reds, pinks and oranges are paired with vibrant colours that vibrate together. Blues, purples and dark greens reveal a sensitive yet positive feeling.

There is a touch of the 1960s in the air. The fabrics are light and present a rainbow of emotions. The designer was also inspired by the work of avant-garde artist Sonia Delaunay and the inherently vulnerable yet fearlessly strong female characters of famous actresses such as Veruschka, Jane Birkin, Brigitte Bardot, Catherine Deneuve and Marisa Berenson.

Ruffles of chiffon and sheer stiff gauze took on a layered and generous silhouette in the show. Beautifully smooth yet light and airy silks with psychedelic prints.

Yanina's spring/summer 2022 couture collection showed a passion for the pleasure of dressing.
