UJOH ANTITHESIS COLLECTION

UJOH Fall/Winter 2026-2027 introduces Antithesis, a runway collection that redefines the brand’s core identity through sharper silhouettes, experimental materials and a renewed design approach.

Rather than signalling a break, the UJOH Antithesis collection is rooted in reflection. For Fall/Winter 2026-2027, the Japanese fashion brand re-examines its foundations, lines and codes to evolve them with precision.

The UJOH FW26/27 collection maintains the House’s DNA while amplifying its presence. Silhouettes are sharper and more structured, while volumes become looser and more fluid. This contrast defines the collection, where minimalism is reworked with a stronger, more assertive edge influenced by 1990s grunge and rock culture.

Craftsmanship remains central to the UJOH Fall/Winter 2026-2027 collection. Selected fabrics are woven in Japan on a 1960s Schönherr loom, operating significantly slower than modern production methods. This process enhances texture and depth, resulting in innovative nylon fabrics and sheer materials that highlight tactility while aligning with slow fashion principles.

Material innovation is a key element of the UJOH Antithesis collection. The use of artisanal Japanese fabrics reflects a commitment to quality and durability, positioning the collection within a broader conversation around sustainable and responsible fashion.

The UJOH FW26/27 runway collection also explores unexpected combinations. Faux suede and faux fur are applied to aviator jackets, while lace appears in unconventional placements. Zips function as structural elements, cutting through garments to create angular, rugged silhouettes that define the collection’s visual identity.

The colour palette of the UJOH Fall/Winter 2026/2027 collection reinforces its contrasts. Black, chocolate and rosewood dominate, while accents of fern green and dark fig introduce depth. ‘Sharkskin’ tones in white and beige provide balance, and check patterns add a subtle grunge influence.

The runway presentation of the UJOH Antithesis collection reflects its conceptual approach. Rejecting a traditional fashion show format, the UJOH FW26/27 runway unfolds without a fixed sequence. Looks appear in a free order, offering a more fluid and exploratory viewing experience.

A key highlight of the UJOH Fall/Winter 2026/2027 collection is the collaboration with Japanese duo DREAMS COME TRUE. UJOH designed stage costumes for the group’s tour, and this partnership informs the collection through technical innovation and performance-driven design.

With the Antithesis collection, UJOH Fall/Winter 2026/2027 positions itself at the intersection of structure and experimentation. The collection balances sharp tailoring, material innovation and contemporary fashion influences, reinforcing UJOH’s role within modern Japanese fashion.
