Asprey unveils a limited-edition Horse Head Decanter
in garnet crystal and 18-carat gold, celebrating the Year of the Horse.
Exclusive to The Peninsula London.

At Lunar New Year, time slows. Families gather. Generations reunite. Gifts are chosen not only for their beauty, but for the intentions they carry into the future. In this spirit, Asprey unveils a creation of rare significance. The limited-edition Horse Head Decanter is available exclusively at the House’s boutique at The Peninsula London.
It celebrates the Year of the Horse — a symbol of strength, endurance, success, and forward momentum. Both a work of art and a vessel of blessing, the decanter embodies meaning as much as mastery.
Only eight numbered pieces exist worldwide. Each reimagines Asprey’s iconic Animal Head silhouette through a dialogue of cultures. Master crystal artisans in Bohemia shape, cut, and polish each decanter entirely by hand, allowing light to move freely through its depths. Its deep garnet hue, developed exclusively for Asprey, embodies happiness, protection, and prosperity — balancing richness with clarity.
Every stopper is meticulously fitted. Every detail is judged with the precision of a gemstone. This is not a piece simply to be owned; it is entrusted. Created to pass through generations, it is destined to endure.
Above, a horse emerges.
First sculpted in wax, the sterling silver head is cast and chased by master silversmiths, before being coated in luminous 18-carat gold in Asprey’s London workshop. Here, centuries of British silversmithing meet contemporary artistry. The horse conveys guardianship, momentum, and aspiration — carrying hope, honour, and ambition forward.
Garnet and gold speak the language of New Year tradition. Together, they symbolise joy, reverence for ancestors, and heartfelt wishes for generations to come. In this light, the decanter becomes more than a vessel. It becomes a messenger between generations — a treasure present at moments of reunion, celebration, and remembrance.
To gift the Asprey Horse Head Decanter is to offer more than rarity. It is an expression of devotion, gratitude, and belief in a prosperous future. Crafted to endure, it is destined to become part of a family’s history, gathering memory, meaning, and pride as it passes from parent to child.
Available exclusively at Asprey, The Peninsula London.
