DIOR

DIOR's artistic director, Maria Grazia Chiuri returns to fundamentals as a tribute to the atelier, a sacred place that is home to exceptional materials and savoir-faire. Her designs included suits with "bar-jacket that have batwing sleeves", soft powdery palette of brick, green, pink and orange coloured fabrics interacting with the body and movements, accessorised with refined custom jewellery, veils and hats..., all creating a complementary continuity of the body on which couture places emphasis on. Evening dresses are dazzled with mixes of pleating and layering, contrasted with simple bustiers which offer surprising consonance.
