Couture Collection
Autumn/Winter 2025–26
Robert Wun never fails to astonish. Season after season, he returns with a vision that goes far beyond fashion, merging art and emotion. This Autumn/Winter 2025–2026 Haute Couture collection, titled « Becoming », was one of his most powerful to date — both haunting and breathtaking.
The Théâtre du Châtelet was transformed into a cavernous void, setting a dark, theatrical atmosphere from the start. The opening look—a monumental white quilted cape, its surface marked with blood-red handprints—immediately shifted the room’s energy. It wasn’t just couture. It was a statement. A ritual. A memory coming to life.
What followed was a procession of bold silhouettes in deep crimson, black, white, and violet. These weren’t just dresses—they were sculptural expressions, infused with surreal elements: phantom limbs lifting veils, blood-like embroidery, trompe l’oeil tailoring. A violet gown glistened with rhinestones, topped by an enormous veil held by artificial arms mounted on the shoulders. Each detail was deliberate. Each look carried weight.
Wun merged expert draping and tailoring with conceptual storytelling, balancing the dramatic and the divine. Structured dresses with detachable bodices, faceless veiled brides, tuxedo illusions, and deep purple textures resembling smoke — all appeared like apparitions drawn from some forgotten dream. The finale: a blush-pink tulle creation with a crystal bustier and a miniature veiled mannequin resting like a memory at the crown.
This was fashion pushed to the edge — raw, emotional, and unforgettable. Wun confronts beauty and trauma head-on, turning couture into something deeply human. His pieces don’t just dress the body — they expose the soul.
With « Becoming », Robert Wun proves once again that he is one of couture’s most original voices. Each collection is a journey into the unknown, and every step is extraordinary.
