Explore timeless elegance at Nathalie Garçon's Parisian boutique, where conscious fashion meets heritage craftsmanship in chic boho designs.”
Nathalie Garçon is a visionary French designer who has been running her boutique in Galerie Vivienne since 1989. Her boutique is a vibrant space that exudes Bohemian charm and welcomes visitors with a friendly atmosphere. The space is adorned with colorful cushions and eclectic décor, which sets the stage for discovering her unique creations. From chic boho-style dresses to her son Emile Garçon's timeless menswear collection, Nathalie's boutique showcases her creativity and style.
Nathalie is celebrated for dressing French celebrities and women of all ages and backgrounds. She champions a concept of fashion that values quality over quantity. She balances her time between Paris and Tunisia, and draws inspiration from both worlds to create conscious fashion. Rejecting the fast-paced nature of the fashion industry, her boutique serves as a sanctuary for meticulous craftsmanship, with each garment telling a story of heritage and authenticity.
Nathalie's approach challenges conventional norms, favouring limited distribution and small-scale production to combat mass consumption. Antique fabrics are lovingly repurposed, infusing narratives of tradition into every stitch. Her dedication to sustainability and empowerment shines through her work, reflecting a profound commitment to creativity and social consciousness.
For Nathalie, fashion is more than mere adornment; it's a medium for self-expression and empowerment, showcasing the diversity of women across ages and cultures, and elevating the spirit of those who wear her creations. Her primary objective is to accentuate the grace of the female form through soft and feminine fashion lines.
"I specialize in dressing women with a hint of refinement who take pleasure in their clothing, aiming to exude positivity," says Nathalie.
"I don't create fashion for fleeting trends," she asserts. "For me, it's a language of self-invention and communication. It's about embracing authenticity and soul, breathing life into each piece with a touch of poetry and slogans."

Of course. My collection revolves around the concept of upcycling. I search for vintage scarves and high-quality clothing pieces from renowned fashion houses like Joe, Zegna, and Armani, and then meticulously reconstruct them to breathe new life into them.

Certainly. Take, for example, this English coat made from 100% virgin wool. It was worn only once before being forgotten. I've rejuvenated it by integrating vintage silk scarves into the lining.

Indeed, every piece is vintage and recycled. I enjoy blending fabrics and elements to craft entirely unique garments. Each item is a fusion of history and modernity, embellished with handcrafted embroidery from Tunisia, where I reside for a significant portion of the year. In Tunis, I unearth a wealth of treasures, selecting and transforming them into bespoke garments that reflect our identity. It's a meticulous process that imbues each piece with a distinct individuality.

My collection is available at two locations in Paris. One is The Family showroom and boutique in Galerie Vivienne, near the Louvre, and the other is Le Bon Marché, a historic department store renowned for its fashion heritage.

Absolutely. There's been a growing interest from our Chinese clientele who appreciate the concept of recycling and the allure of vintage fashion. It's becoming a trend gaining momentum in China these days.

Undoubtedly. While I initially pursued architecture and interior design, my mother's influence ultimately led me to venture into the world of fashion. Collaborating with her has been a rewarding experience that has shaped my journey as a designer. I love this adventure of bringing the past back to life.
