The Serbian Fashion Week is a biannual week-long fashion show held in Novi Sad, Serbia where international fashion collections are shown to buyers, the press and the general public.
Serbia has plenty to celebrate for 2022. This year Serbia has been named the European Capital of Culture 2022 but In Novi Sad there is another reason to celebrate the Serbia Fashion Week as the Serbia Fashion Week celebrated its 10th anniversary of fashion. Svetlana Horvat, president of the Serbian Fashion Week has been organizing and producing the fashion weeks which take place twice a year at the premises of "Master" Congress Centre of Novi Sad.
Each season, Serbia Fashion Week generates extensive media coverage reaching large audiences, followers and fashion fans throughout the world that have placed Serbia on the international fashion platform.
The National Chamber of Fashion Serbia has been a member of the European Fashion Council since 2012 and has enabled local and international designers to show their collections. while supporting the work and importance of Serbian home-grown talent.
Through fashion, arts and talents, Serbia presents their prestigious architectural heritage and a culture marked by diversity. The fashion and style are exciting and we discover designers who are both innovative and original.
The Serbia Fashion Week brings together the new generation of designers and creators along with international fashion designers and fashion houses. The event is the perfect vehicle to showcase Serbian talent on an international level while at the same time promoting the culture and business inside of Serbia.
The future looks bright for the designers and the up and coming youth of tomorrow. The imperative mission is to create economic development with local production awareness such as manufacturing within the textile industry as well as the tourism sectors.
The Serbia Fashion Week 2022 for the 19th edition invited some of Serbia's prominent designers such as Mrija Sabic, Bosko Jakovljevic, Jelena Malesevic and Milica Trickovic. Serbia Fashion Week continues to discover, nurture and showcase a new generation of designers, who have moved on to attain global recognition with their collections worn by international celebrities.
This season International designers included Sanja Veličković (Slovenian), Carmichael Byfield (Netherlands), Jadranka Šegota (Bosnia and Herzegovina), SKiN iT Fashion by Georgia Chioni (Greece), Zia Budapest (Hungary), Imane Belmkaddem (Sweden & Morocco), and Kristina Marovic (Montenegro) including other artists, musicians, Interior decorators, multimedia experts and architects.
The shows and events continued at the SCCNS “Fabrika” with seminars exhibitions and fashion shows presenting the finalists of the competition “European Fashion Talent Design".
The fashion event also highlighted an invited guest from France, Professor Marcellous Jones to speak on the subject of Fashion and the Metaverse. A very exciting and interesting debate.
Serbia Fashion week is definitely a new and exciting fashion destination where we discovered a wave of new and exciting talent, alongside the natural beauty of Serbia.

Spes Line's Jewellery and clothing designer Jovana Zvkovic presented a unique and casual collection featuring black with colourful printed details.
TMV Fashion

TMV Fashion show, presented a collection of children's clothes by designer, Svetlana Cavic. Her collection is cute and fun and easy to wear as young models paraded down the runway, sometimes time with their mothers. Entitled "Black Swan", the collection is focused on children between the ages of 6 to 12. The clothes are made from organic cotton and other natural materials.
Sanja Veličković
(Slovenia)
The collection of Sanja Veličković is inspired by the culture of Vinča. A unique and original collection, the colour palette consisted of a variety of orange tones and black with a tribal element to it.
Alexander Bratscher
(Serbia)
Alexander Bratscher showcased a spectrum of colours for his latest collection. The inspiration is freedom from the Covid-19 pandemic. The collection inspires a bold message with bright colours, pinks, oranges and reds. A wide range of cocktail dresses and evening wear features. Bustiers with lace details, pretty dresses, mini dresses and long dresses made in silk satin fabrics. Get ready for that evening celebration.
Jadranka Šegota
(Bosnia and Herzegovina)
Jadranka Šegota presented her new collection combining leather with other fabrics. Her collection is feminine, elegant and classy. Additionally, she also showcased her unique collection of leather handbags and accessories.
Ethno Glamour

Ethno Glamour by Silvana Tošić combines tradition and heritage in her collection. The collection features garments made from Pirot rugs. A colourful collection using natural fabrics such as linen and cotton with embroidery details.
Katarina Vidović
(Serbia)
Designer Katarina Vidovic presented a collection consisting of bustiers and corsets for occasions. Her collection is fun, stylish and young. They are colourful and comfortable. The tops are basic and can be worn with skirts, pants or shorts. The designer is inspired by Queen Victoria.
Kristina Marović
(Montenegro)
The collection of Montenegro designer - Kristina Marović's is inspired by folklore costumes of the Balkans using cotton and linen and embroidery motifs. Her collection is elegant and original.
Lovely Apple

Milica Tričković and Jelena Zorić combined their creativity to create a new label - Lovely Apple. Their collection is innovative and explosive with bright colours and fun with a touch of extravagance. Their collection is inspired by Yica Đurić an artist from Valencia whose artworks can be seen in the show. There is something for everyone.., a super-energetic show.
Imane Belmkaddem
(SWEDEN)
Imane Belmkaddem was born in Morocco and is based in Sweden. For her Serbia Fashion Week Collection, she presented a two-section show with the opening theme "Dreaming of Morocco", inspired by her mother the artist Fatima El Hajjaji. The Moroccan landscape is woven into every creation, The second section of the collection is inspired by the national myths of Morocco and she used a traditional fabric called "winchif". The show was colourful with kaftans and skirts, hand-painted silk blouses and puffed jackets.
Marija Sabić
(SERBIA)
Designer Marija Sabić presented her couture collection. Her dresses are feminine, elegant and dreamy. The models glided down the runway with the flowing dresses of Marija Sabić with long scarfs. The inspiration is simple, pure with total freedom. The soft & airy movement of the fabrics reminds us of beautiful swans. Once again, she offers us an outstanding collection.
SKiN iT Fashion

Greek designer Georgia Chioni showcased an all-black collection for her brand SKiN iT during the Serbia fashion week. The house leans towards edgy inspirations with mini skirts, shorts in leather and other materials. There are several looks incorporating cut outs, chains and zips that captures the punk-rock era.
LATINKA DJORDJEVIC
(Serbia)
The Latinka Djordjevic Collection is inspired by nature. The garments are made with natural fibers featuring materials such as wool and silk. Very organic with stunning textures in earthy tones. They are thoughtfully designed and consciously created. Its design philosophy focuses on conscious consumption and sustainable living.
HOUSE OF BYFIELD
By Carmichael Byfield (Netherlands)
Carmichael Byfield from the "House of Byfield" is based in Netherlands who once again presents a colorful and fun menswear collection.
Inspired by his Jamaican origins, Carmichael's designs are edgy, sporty and unique with original prints. Puffer jackets are featured and also some fun and elegant dresses for the women.
Zia Budapest
(Hungary)
Anett Csizmazia is the brainchild behind the Budapest-based label Zia. For her 2022 show, she presented a contemporary innovative collection which boasted oversized kimonos, easy-to-wear dresses and timeless garments that look creative and fun that are made with mixed fabrics.
Sirena

Designer Valentina Dukić presented her collection for Sirena featuring voluminous tulle layered skirts, boned bodices, and lace detailing.., a fairy-tale wedding dress collection.
Martini Vesto
By Boško Jakovljević (Serbia)
The Martini Vesto Show by designer Boško Jakovljević once again presented a superb menswear collection. Part one of the show featured vibrant colours and prints for the strong silhouettes, wider pants and rock-n-roll influences. The second part featured darker and more subdued looks. Made with a variety of Italian fabrics of wool and cotton to viscose, it is a fun and original collection.
Jelena Malešević
(Serbia)
Jelena Malešević showcased a collection that is both futuristic and avant-garde. Her sculptural dresses, with organza and sky leather, are inspired by the prehistoric civilization of Vinca.
