A native of Lyon, Alexis Mabille developed a passion for style and fashion at a very early age. Later, he worked at the houses of Christian Dior and Yves Saint Laurent before founding his own housebrand which quickly became renowned for the designer’s modern rendering of the traditional bow tie.

Upon arriving at the Alexis Mabille showroom at the Galerie Vivienne in Paris, we experience the sensation of entering into a winter garden of statement couture gowns.

We discover each dress has its place sending a message where flowers are blooming. We feel happy in this beautiful universe of couture dresses just waiting to be worn for that exceptional event. For the "Fall-Winter 2022 Collection" the designer was inspired by the "Femme Fleur" where each dress is designed around a floral inspiration.

The collection was filled with emotions. Hand embroidered, flowers and petals adorned the gowns. Large pink rose sleeves appearing to be in full bloom resting upon a black, figure-hugging mermaid dress.

This season, Alexis Mabille presented a variety of exceptionally fun pieces ranging from mini dresses to bold sculpted sophisticated evening wears and shining sparkling suits.

This is haute couture...!

Each garment is a work of art taking hours to create. A variety of textiles have been utilised and mixed. There is something for everyone. .

These dresses are a must for the red carpet. One noticable dress is the exceptional transparent pouffe sleeves filled with sequins and flowers that is coordinated with a black pencil skirt.

There are also a series of sculptural silhouettes, with a short wrap dress in white silk featuring a floral bouquet blooming from the bustier. A voluminous red evening cape skirt featuring layers of tulle upon a sequined bodysuit was another stand out item.

Elegant and fresh, the Alexi Mabille garden is in full bloom. The silhouettes show the exceptional talent of the creator and his celebration of flowers, the essence of nature and freedom.

The colours of white, green, pink, red, violet and yellow reflect the “flourishing” garden. These dresses represent the future, revitalising renaissance, where there will be many parties and evenings to celebrate and enjoy.
